This is quite possibly the roughest pub I have ever been in and I've been in quite a few. Even the women sport black eyes as a badge of honour (no, really I'm serious). Been in twice and it's almost kicked off on both occasions. It's got that feeling in the air that you could even offer to buy someone a beer and they'd take it the wrong way. Not a bad selection of ales on which is handy because all you'll dare do all evening is stare at the reasonably priced pint you've bought and the glass it's contained in. You should be okay but if you get one bad look I'd drink up quick and head to Barking for a slightly safer beer...
