NOTE:Hideous attempt at cool lounge bar, appealing to Generation Loaded and all the funky young things from the nearby student halls. Comfy sofas, cocktails, half-decent range of beers are all ruined by a dreadful clientele and DJs who insist that the only decent music is that played at deafening volume (which is kind of like American comedy: you can tell when the funny bits are because the lines are shouted more loudly). Unexplored music venue upstairs. There are bouncers on the door; a move which should deter the sensible. Open til 2am Thurs/Fri/Sat.
